CEO Roundtable Discussion
Chair: Laurie Linn, Communiqué Design & Marketing
The Tompkins County CEO Round Table was developed in 2003 to link a group of high caliber CEO's together to participate in an interactive process of dialog to learn from and advise each other. The leadership group represents both the for profit sector and not for profit sector bringing their voices together to discuss topical issues as well as any micro developments each CEO may be experiencing with their business, organization and as a community leader.
The Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce facilitates the meetings quarterly and all meetings are conducted in a closed door environment free of the media so that the CEO leadership group may speak in an open and honest environment. The information shared is a direct benefit to the Chamber's plan of work. The Chamber is able to confidentially translate many of the positive outcomes or issues from the meetings to benefit the community and the Chamber's membership.
Meets: On a quarterly basis, 8 to 9:30 AM at the Chamber of Commerce
Government Affairs Committee
Chair: John Neuman, President, 1492 Consulting Group

The Governmental Action Committee also helps communicate the Chamber’s viewpoint clearly and strongly to our membership, elected officials, and the community at large. On issues which the Chamber does not align itself with a particular point of view, the GAC will seek to present fair representation of both sides of the issue to the membership, elected officials and the community at large.
